A Semillon-based blend with lesser portions of Muscat, Gewurztramineer and Pinot Gris. The grapes were crushed and underwent cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks prior to blending and early bottling. It is a lively and fresh, yet complex, white wine. Finely structured lemon tinged Semillon provides a wonderful backbone to support the soft floral aromatics of Muscat, entwined with the delicate spice of Gewürztraminer. Pinot Gris introduces texture and mouthfeel to complete a wonderfully flavoursome wine.
A blend of Shiraz, Mourvedre, Grenache and Tempranillo grapes all sourced from Barossa Valley vineyards. Each variety is individually fermented to dryness on skins then matured in old French and American oak for six months prior to bottling. The colour is vibrant red with a burst of dark cherry and spice on the bouquet leading to a softly textured finish. Shiraz delivers fruit depth and structure, while the Tempranillo is firm and savoury. Mourvedre brings a wild earthiness and all are bound together by the aromatic and spicy nature of Grenache which softens the palate.
Attractive light green/gold colour leads to an appealing aroma of freshly cut white peaches. It has a beautiful soft depth of fruit on the middle palate and finishes clean and dry. A delightful example of a youthful, fruit-driven, unwooded style of Chardonnay from a classic white wine vintage. A wine to be enjoyed over the next 2-3 years.
The colour is cherry red with hints of dark plum and chocolate on the nose. A fruit driven palate with a soft tannin finish. A wine to give immense enjoyment in its youth. This fresh, lively Shiraz is a delicious partner for steak, meatbased pasta dishes and pizza, and is splendid with a goodmatured cheese.
