Tim Adams Wines "Tim 'Bonecrusher' Adams produces some of the best value, most flavoursome reds and whites, not just in the Clare Valley, but in the whole of Australia." Anthony Rose (The Independent)
THE STORY Tim Adams and his wife Pam are currently producing the best value wines coming out of Australia. Produced from both their own vineyards and a group of fiercely loyal local growers whose vineyards are sited in varying microclimates right across the valley, they are sweeping all before them.
Principal varieties processed are Shiraz, Semillon, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Grenache. Wine styles are traditional, being dry whites made from Riesling and Semillon and medium to full bodied reds made from Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet.
In 2006, the 2006 Tim Adams Clare Valley Riesling (see below) won the Hyatt Riesling Trophy in Canberra for Best Riesling in competition with 458 Rieslings from all over the world. Last year The Fergus won two International WINE Challenge trophies, while The Shiraz has won several IWC Gold Medals over the last few years. This year his 2007 Semillon won the International Semillon Trophy in the 2008 International Wine Challenge. Is there no end to this boy's talent - trophies for both red and white wine in succesive years! THE WINES
